Just about everyone on the planet is familiar with silver being used as money, jewelry and wiring in some electronic devices. Another form of Silver referred as liquid Silver has been pushed out of the main stream eyes by the medical industry. Few people today are aware it has the ability to kill or inhibit a wide variety of pathogenic micro-organism (bacteria, viral infections and fungi) that causes a multitude of illnesses. In main stream medicine, antibiotics are used to kill bacteria and unfortunately, they cause additional health problems such as:
1. Compromised immune system by killing the good bacteria as well as the bad,
2. Immunity to the antibiotic due to over usage, and
3. Exposure to yeast infections.   The prefix “Anti” means “against” and the root word “Bio” means “life”; therefore, antibiotics are against life and will eventually become useless in making you well.

Because liquid Silver is a natural bacterium killer, it will not harm your immune system at all.  Liquid Silver is an angstrom mineral meaning it’s already broken into its smallest possible form and can be digested easier.   It is actually absorbed through the walls of the mouth; therefore the body doesn’t waste energy trying to digest it.

How liquid Silver actually kills or inhibits bacteria and other micro-organisms is not known, but there are four theories researches believe may provide an explanation:
• It is believed that the Silver binds to the micro-organism; which causes the body to eliminate it by some unknown mechanism.
• It’s also believed that the body will recognize Silver as being “foreign” like Antigens; which in turns activate the immune system to respond and kill the micro-organism.
• Another theory is that Silver particles generate a rapid back and forth Brownian (a random movement of particles suspended in fluid) motion that may “pulverize” the micro-organism.
• The final theory is that the molecular structure of the Silver atom may cause an interference with the micro-organism’s respiration.
There are three known forms of Silver: Colloidal Silver, Mild Silver Protein and Strong Silver Protein.

Colloidal Silver is a very small particle (0.01 to 0.001 microns in diameter) suspended in water. It is an electrical colloid meaning that the Silver particles have a negative charge, and each particle contains about 15 Silver atoms. Because of the size of the particles and the negative electrical charge, the Silver containing particles repel each other and remain suspended in the water indefinitely without settling. Colloidal Silver is produced in concentration ranges of 3 particles per micron (ppm) to 500 ppm. The most beneficial Colloidal Silver is clear in color. If the Colloidal Silver is yellow or brown in color that indicates very little Silver is present in the product. In other words, you will not get the full benefit of the Colloidal Silver in product label with the following: Ionic Silver, Monatomic Silver and Silver Hydrosol.

Mild Silver Protein is a compound made up of Silver being bound to a protein. This form is the least effective for human usage. It contains up to about 25% Silver and up to 81% protein. The protein functions as a stabilizing agent for the Silver particles; which prevent them from combining with each other to form increasingly larger particles that would gradually settle out of suspension. This form of Silver can cause argyria (a permanent bluish skin tone) due to the high concentration of large Silver particles.

Strong Silver Protein is also a compound made up of Silver being bound to a protein. It contains up to about 8.5% Silver and is normally used topically (directly on the skin) as an antiseptic. Although is contains less Silver than Mild Silver Protein, it is also more irritating to the body’s tissue than the Mild Silver Protein.
As for the bioavailability of Silver, it is believed that Silver is absorbed into the body during the first one third of the small intestine and 99% of orally digested Silver is excreted from the body during bowel movements.
